This commission was also an achievement for me. Not only was it my very first, it was my most unusual - well for me at least. The inspiration was.........well I'm not entirely sure actually. It started out as a simple design with basic circle shapes and then turned out like this. Bits of newspaper painted, and glued, onto the canvas with a slight texture of sand in other circles/onions whatever they are :) I hope I get the inspiration to do some more expressive painting.
